The Bicycle: The Solution to Pollution, A New Revolution

Rollick Recreation’s Invention to Modernize Transportation, Reduce Greenhouse Emissions, and Save Your Wallet

BOULDER, CO – January 18, 2013 – Rollick Recreation, privately held American outdoor equipment and sporting goods company, has introduced a pioneering human-powered transport called “the bicycle,” or “bike.” A novel mode of transportation, the bicycle is a two wheeled, pedal-driven vehicle effective for both scenic transportation and exercise.

Rollick has plans to create various styles of bicycles unique for mountain, road, sidewalk cruising and even a multiseat bike. Bicycle inventor Whip Derailleur incorporated a multifaceted brake system and “kick-stand” system for the series of bicycles to be released later this month.

“The bicycle cannot stand on its own because it’s two-tired. So we invented a kick stand system on which the vehicle can lean,” explained Derailleur.

Design Coordinator Elizabeth Lemon has suggested that bicycles will be adapted for people of all ages and sizes, including various colors, tassels, baskets, bells, and even options for the seat. In road-testing, the bicycle beat city buses in downtown Boulder five of five times.

“After my morning dose of supplements, I found my commute to work was greatly enhanced by the maneuverability and speed of the bike, both manipulated by my positive outlook, muscles and endurance. Riding is just like tying your shoes, you never forget how to do it,” said Rance Lamstrong, a test rider for Rollick.

Lamstrong, in tandem with several other test riders, is working with the City of Boulder to plan some potential urban bike races, similar to the BolderBoulder, implying that this vehicle could be used for sport.

Rollick Rec has even set contracts with big movie houses to feature the bicycle in remastered versions of a few classic films such as E.T., The Wizard of Oz, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, highlighting its versatility.

Rollick’s bicycle makes getting there half the fun.
